It’s Peony time! They are out in the flower shack ready for you to enjoy! The Hockinson Fun Days and Parade (wave to Pat and Savannah if you are at the parade!) is happening today as well which is a fabulous time for the whole family! 182nd Ave will be closed from about 11:15-1:30. You can get to us coming from Battleground. For those of you that our are “Peony People” and don’t want to miss these, message us directly and I can hold some for you at a time that works for you for porch pick up. Sunflower Festival at O’Keefe Farms 2026 is 3 months away! Dates this year are August 8-9th, and August 15-16th. We are doing fewer days this summer because our soon to be high school graduate (Savannah 👏👏) wanted to work less and have more fun before she leaves for college in the fall (less work and more fun! We could all use a little of that)! We are also having a ticketed concert on August 1st that will launch our sunflower season. Tulips tulips tulips. Well not this year from us!!!! Sadly after over 10 years of field growing tulips the deer found ours and the 1 night buffet happened. They dined and dashed and didn’t even tip us either. Farming continues to teach us lessons even when you think you got it figured out. We will try again next year!!!!

Happy Friday! This is last nights view from the dahlia patch. Dreamy and beautiful cutting flowers with my husband 🥰. Love you Pat! Flowers are out and big and fluffy from the much needed rest and rain. Wishing you a fantastic weekend!

Last couple of sunflower bouquets are going out on the stand this morning (about 7:30). It’s always bittersweet when the sunflower season comes to an end. Many thanks to everyone who came out to support us at our Sunflower Festival this year!!! Thanks also to all of our many support people who helped to make it happen; Scott Murphy!!!! Becky, Britta, Angie, Jessie, Collin, Ramon, Savannah, Leah, Evelyn, Jacob, Gavin, and Tara. Thanks to all of our amazing vendors and musicians always!!!! Our roadside stand will be open today and then open again on Friday to let the dahlia field rest and produce more blooms!!! Thanks again for your support of our family flower farm 🙏🏽❤️
