The Inaugural Southern Bounty Festival is proud to present Forward Brunswick with a $5,000 check and The Nunnally House of Southeast Georgia Health System with $2,500!

Held April 1, 2023 at , created to celebrate the entire bounty of the South- from food and farming to culture and art- it featured a Marketplace with over 20 farmers and artisans, as well as a Tasting Tent with 18 vendors serving out their specialties. Beer and wine flowed from the Libation Station sponsored by United Distributors and the sound of Rider filled the air. Island Sound sponsored the Entertainment and they did not disappoint!!

From fresh produce to handmade cards, guests enjoyed shopping "locals only" stuff and sampling delicacies. of Keller Williams was present to share information about the area for any visitors wishing to make it home and Matted Ox Axe Throwing was there for anyone wishing to try their hand at ax throwing!

We heard from Brittany Jenson, the Director and Founder, as well as faith based leaders: Steve Temmer, Jimmy Martinez and Vivian Holmes. Brad and Lizzie Piazza of Port City Partners shared words of why they love the Golden Isles and how it was an honor to be the Title Sponsor. Their venue space, Queen and Grant hosted the check presentation later that month. Lance Sabbe, Executive Director of Forward Brunswick and Bryan Thompson, Nunnally House and Development Coordinator represented the non-profit recipients and gave insight to the work and missions they do in our community. All the while, Mike Hall of Island Sound and Henshaw Companies kept the event flowing on the microphone. Photo and drone coverage was provided by Annaliese Kondo from Studio Pixel Pop - given directly to Elegant Island Living Media Group, their media sponsor.

A thank-you reception was held at Queen and Grant on April 27th. Hosting sponsors and volunteers, Brittany presented the non-profits with the donations and thanked all of our sponsors, partners and volunteers for their contributions.
