News from Marcille of Celtic Heritage:

I've had to cancel (I'm thinking of it as "postpone") the 2025 Celtic Family Jamboree.

After a visit to the Florida Sand Music Ranch, I realized that pulling off the festival to our usual standard was going to be a huge task to accomplish before gates open. The Ranch is doing a FANTASTIC job in their ongoing recovery from Hurricane Milton, but for the purposes of producing the Celtic Family Jamboree a major re-think is required of us.

In a "normal" year, I'd probably have welcomed the challenge. But as many of you may already know, this year has been far from normal for me and for a lot of people in the path of two devastating hurricanes ... I need to pull back and regroup, and three weeks is just not enough time for me, not with everything going on in my life and my community after Hurricane Helene.

I'm devastated about this, but in my heart of hearts, I know it's the right thing to do. Even now, I'm looking forward to FamJam 2026, and am determined to make it the best ever.

When we hear "Celtic," most of us think "Irish and Scottish." But Brittany, in the northwest corner of France, has a strong Celtic tradition -- it's one of the 7 Nations!

Tamara Smalling is recently back from Brittany after six years of studying Breton culture, language, and dance. Colin Shoemaker is a bombard player extraordinaire. (Don't worry if you don't know what a bombard is. You'll find out.) They'll help you find Brittany on a map, tell you a few fun facts, teach you some Breton words, play some Breton music, and teach you a Breton dance (or two).

We're so excited to bring Breton Culture to FamJam!

Just discovered some FamJam pages on celticheritageproductions website are down. It will take a while for us to migrate important info over to Facebook, but we'll work on it.

In the meantime, our apologies. (Our web host seems to find web hosting very difficult!) But no web host will block us from our route -- over, around, whatever it takes, we'll get it done!
