We always enjoy welcoming Tim Mulcrone back to the Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park MN, and today was no exception!

Tim, Rotary District 5950 PolioPlus Chair since 2012, is a 32-year Rotarian from Chanhassen and a three-time Rotary Club President. He has dedicated countless hours to keeping Rotary's mission to eradicate polio at the forefront and is a passionate advocate for the End Polio Now campaign.

During today's breakfast meeting, Tim shared updates on the tremendous progress being made worldwide. Thanks to Rotary and its global partners, polio cases have been reduced by 99.9%. While we are closer than ever, the work continues until polio is eradicated everywhere.

Thank you, Tim, for your continued leadership, dedication, and commitment to helping Rotary finish the job.

5 Clubs. One Purpose. Join Rotary.

Members from Rotary District 5950, MN Rotary Club of Area 4 gathered tonight for a fun pizza night filled with connection, collaboration, and community spirit at Frankie's Pizza in New Hope. It was a great opportunity to meet and connect with members from Rotary Clubs including Center Rotary Club, Rotary Club of Brooklyn Park MN, Rotary Club of Crystal-New Hope-Robbinsdale, Valley Rotary Club, and St. Louis Park Rotary Club!

Mary Timmons did a great job sharing the purpose of the meeting, which focused on connection, service and impact! Then each club president or a club member shared highlights of how their club is serving the community, and we were especially proud of our own Brooklyn Park Rotary President, Shalin Johnson, who did a fantastic job showcasing the many meaningful efforts and events our club has supported over the past year.

Rotary is a great way to build lasting friendships while making a positive impact in the community. Come join us!

Last Wednesday, we welcomed Dr. Rolando Garcia, President of North Hennepin Community College, to our Brooklyn Park Rotary breakfast, where he shared updates from the college.

It was great to hear that enrollment remains strong and how the college continues to evolve to support today’s busy students. He also touched briefly on AI and the growing importance of understanding how it’s shaping education and the future workforce.

From Minnesota to Costa Rica, our Rotary crew has been busy making a difference in the most meaningful way ❤️

Members from the Brooklyn Park, Rotary Club of Maple Grove and E-Club Rotary Global Travelersrecently teamed up for an incredible service trip — and just look at what they accomplished:

💧 New handwashing station
🚽 4 brand-new restroom stalls
🏠 Roof repairs after storm damage
🛠️ Classroom remodel for a fresh start

All for a daycare center in San Jose serving 120 amazing kids — and now able to welcome 14 more children because of these improvements 🙌
