Two local organizations were gifted some of that Andy Englund Memorial Race money this week.
🦌 The mission of Little Wilderness according to their website is as follows:
At Little Wilderness , we strive to create a safe, comfortable and educational experience for children and youth to get outdoors. From hunting and fishing, camping and hiking, conservation and education, we provide a community where children of all ages have to opportunity to attend events and learn a variety of outdoor-related skills to help.
🦌 We think Andy would be proud to support their mission.
🧡Compassionate Friends provides highly personal comfort, hope, and support to every family experiencing the death of a son or a daughter, a brother or a sister, or a grandchild, and helps others better assist the grieving family.
🧡There are chapters all over the United States, however, Andy’s Race money was given to the local chapter. Their ongoing friendship with Wendy has been so appreciated over the years.
