"Chalk It Up!" An Art Festival This year's free family festival is Friday, Sept 11th 5pm-9pm and Saturday, Sept 12th 9am-6pm. This is a family event and is free to the public.

The City of Broken Arrow and ARTSOK: The Regional Arts Alliance of Broken Arrow present the 13th annual “Chalk It Up!” An Art Festival

This festival begins on Friday, September 19th from 5pm-9pm and continues on Saturday, September 20th from 9am-6pm. It will take place on Main Street in Broken Arrow, directly in the middle of the Rose District! THE EXPERIENCE:
🖌️ Iconic Chalk Art Competition
🖌️ Local artist vendors selling their handmade work.
🖌️ Gallery art contest held inside Arts@302.
🖌️ Delicious local food trucks
🖌️ Live entertainment

We got hit with a little unexpected weather. Fortunately, our team quickly scrambled to capture all of the chalk art before a single raindrop hit the ground! 😬

Thank you to all of our artists for participating this year. The rain tried to scare us away but we still had an amazing festival weekend. We’ll see you in 2027!!

The rain may have stopped the drawing early, but People's Choice Voting is still open til 3pm. If you know you're favorite artist's number, vote now!

Our main 7 awards are judged by a panel of 3 judges. The People's Choice Award is voted upon by monetary donations to ARTSOK. The artist with the highest amount of donations will win the award along with a $250 cash prize.

Our award ceremony will continue as planned at 4pm now inside Arts@302. We will live stream the announcements on the Arts@302 page. If artists are not present, we will contact you after the festival to get you your award!

CHALK IT UP WEATHER UPDATE:
We took pictures of all chalk drawings before the rain. We will still hold our awards ceremony today at 4pm at Arts@302. We are working on live streaming the awards for folks who had to leave early!

This weekend at Chalk It Up we have a festival passport! Nine of our wonderful sponsors have stamps at their booth to stamp your passport. Explore the festival and collect all stamps to enter in to our raffle drawing!

After the festival we will be drawing two lucky winners for our creativity basket. It will include:
