Dear music community: Artists and audience, friends and supporters … we love you! We hope you found a special moment or two at Acousticool shows in our 10th year to hold close and carry forward with you. This “stump song” encore from Buffalo Rose in October seems like an appropriate way to sign off for 2025 and wish you all a happy & peaceful New Year. Acousticool 2025 Wrapped!
$9,844.08 paid out to independent musicians; 17 artists/bands featured in four discovery shows, five 10-year anniversary favorites shows and one pop-up concert; and untold numbers of potluck goodies and musical memories! Thank you to all the artists for your heartfelt performances and everyone who attended and supported shows, making the 10th year of the experience possible! Swipe to relive moments from this special year … We plan to take an extended rest to start 2026, but look forward to seeing you out there at a venue somewhere, sometime soon!

Wow, we are still processing all the feelings, memories and amazing music from our 10-year anniversary grand finale concert Saturday night!! Heather Maloney returned EXACTLY 10 years (within one day!) after playing the first Acousticool concert in December 2015, and it was every bit as special and magical as we could have hoped, thanks to these wonderful artists, Brad Bensko running sound and everyone who attended, donated, brought food and sold out this long-anticipated event!!! Thank you to everyone who has performed, assisted in ways large and small and attended concerts over these 10 years. YOU have made a community out of this little house concert series!! —> Well, this is normally where I mention our next concert … but what’s next after 10 years is an extended break and rest for your friendly hosts. Make sure you’re on our email list to keep up with Acoustinews and be alerted when and if we’re back with more live music! That might be late 2026, or even beyond. We’ll see what develops in the coming year(s). ♥️♥️♥️ (Thank you Chris Malik for these video clips.)

We had such a blast kicking off the holiday season last night with Halley Neal and Sam Robbins! Great music, great fun, originals, old favorites, sing-alongs and requests — what more could you ask for? Huge thanks to the musicians for memorable performances and everyone who bought tickets and spent the last few hours of their Thanksgiving weekend with us! (If you couldn’t join us, Halley and Sam do have two more Connecticut shows in December for their holiday duets tour — check their feeds or sites for the details!)
Next up is our grand 10-year-anniversary finale, featuring the return of and on Dec. 13th! This show has sold out already, but shoot us a message if you’d like to be on the waiting list.

THIS SUNDAY!!! We love these Holiday Duets tours by HalleyNeal and Sam Robbins, now entering a third year, for the unique blend of top-notch musicality, engaging stage presence and infectious enthusiasm! Their love for the season never fails to transport the audience to a magical sleigh ride of old favorites, their own holiday originals and even your requests!

Did we mention that the potlucks for holiday shows are always among the best of the year? So expect lots of savory and sweet treats in addition to the great live music.

Our advice? Escape the tryptophan-induced coma of turkey leftovers and let Halley and Sam send you into December with a holiday song in your heart!

Picture this: It’s the very end of the long post-Thanksgiving weekend. You’ve eaten all the turkey you can stomach, taken all the naps you can handle and need a break from the TV parades and football games. Now what? 
WE GOT YOU!  and put on the most festival holiday show around, so come hang with them in our intimate listening room! It's a glorious, warm fall day and we have Buffalo Rose in the house! Join us for a memorable backyard concert, with Wallace Field opening. Celebrating 10 years of live music at Acousticool … oh, and did we mention the potluck?

Doors at 2pm, show at 3 pm, online ticket sales available until noon at Acousticool-dot-net under the shows tab.

If you didn't get tickets but know our location, you can make a game-time decision to attend and put cash in the bucket since we're outside where there's extra space!

Don’t forget, our “Shirt Swap” kicks off with tonight’s Honeysuckle show! Still plenty of seats available. Online ticket sales at Acousticool-dot-net end at 2 pm, but if you know our location already, you can come without tickets and put cash in the bucket! (Doors + potluck at 6:30 pm, show at 7:30 pm)
