Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion is an award-winning, non-profit music festival held annually in Historic Downtown Bristol, VA-TN, celebrating the legendary 1927 Bristol Sessions recordings. Bristol Rhythm brings together a diverse range of performers to celebrate the legendary 1927 Bristol Sessions recordings and their vast influence on today's music. From internationally acclaimed touring acts to the very best artists from the region, the festival is known for its tasteful blend of roots music and for catching stars on the rise

Beyond the music, Bristol Rhythm includes artisans and artisan groups selling unique, handmade items, food vendors offering a wide variety of culinary creations, and a number of ancillary events for children and adults – all designed to enrich the overall experience of the Festival for the patrons. Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion and the Birthplace of Country Music Museum, an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, continues to have a major impact on the growth of business, entertainment, and the general energy and vitality of Historic Downtown Bristol and the surrounding region. A new economic impact study is planned for 2021.
