In the 𝐑𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐑𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐲, the NH Half Marathon came in 2nd place—and the runners said it better than we ever could:

“Beautiful and hilly.”

“Fun people, great experience.”

26.2 miles. Legendary crowds. A scream tunnel. A course that doesn’t care how you feel.

Good luck to everyone running the 130th Boston Marathon—the oldest continuously run marathon in the world.

It’s races like this that inspire what we try to create at the NH Marathon…just with a course that might be a little tougher (we said what we said :-)).

We’ve said it before, and we’ll say it again—this race doesn’t happen without great people behind it.

If you’ve looked outside lately, you know one thing for sure: New Hampshire did not skip winter this year.

Snowbanks are high. Driveways are narrow. And your “easy 3-miler” just turned into a trail run through frozen tundra.

The good news? October will feel amazing.

🎉 $45,000 Donated to Support Local Youth Programs – Thanks to YOU! 🎉

On November 3rd, the NH Marathon Committee — together with our Title Sponsor Hiltz Excavating, Platinum Sponsor Northeast Delta Dental, and more than 40 generous sponsors — proudly donated $45,000 to three incredible local youth organizations:

💜 Circle Program NH
💛 The Mayhew Program

This donation was celebrated the evening before, on November 2nd, at a reception held at The Homestead, where nearly 30 guests joined us — including committee members, sponsors, and representatives from all three benefitting organizations.

NH Marathon Committee Members kicked off the evening by sharing some of this year’s impressive race stats. Representatives from Hiltz Excavating (Alexis Raimondi) and Northeast Delta Dental (Tom & Ellen Raffio) presented checks for $15,000 each to each organization.

Each nonprofit was represented by their leadership, mentors, and the youth they serve — the heart of why we run this race every year:

The Mayhew Program: Executive Director Peter Saliba joined by a Mayhew mentor and mentee

Circle Program NH: Executive Director Elizabeth Dever, Communications & Development Director Maggie McGovern, and a Circle mentor & mentee

Tapply-Thompson Community Center: Director Les Dion, Assistant Director Dan MacLean, Program Supervisor Regina Richford, and several TTCC kids who also ran in this year’s NH Marathon Kids Race!
