250 YEARS AGO TODAY IN BRIMFIELD
MAY 24, 1776

"Voted Unanimously, that if the Honorable Congress should for the safety of the said colonies declare themselves independent of the Kingdom of Great Britain, we the said inhabitants will solemnly engage with our lives and fortunes to support them in the measure"

Today we remember the 323 Brimfield men and boys who served during the Revolutionary War, including those who gave their lives.

On this Memorial Day Weekend, we honor these men and all our local veterans for their courage, sacrifice, and devotion to liberty.
