We are so excited to partner with another non-profit local to Birmingham, , for a summer movie series! First up on screen: Scott Pilgrim vs the World (chosen for some of it's iconic knitwear)

If you've never been to one before - the lights will be a little brighter so you can knit, crochet, or craft along with the film.

We are truly blown away by the number of applications we’ve received so far. Thank you to everyone who has applied so far, it’s going to make for an incredible festival… and some very tough decisions on our end.

Our team will be reviewing all applications submitted this month, and decisions will be sent out no later than the end of May.

Vendor and workshop applications are officially open for the 2026 Alabama Fiber Festival!

We are welcoming fiber artists, makers, dyers, educators, and small businesses to apply to be part of our 2026 festival. This year we are using FiberHive to manage applications and listings, making the process smoother for everyone.

We are soooo ready to share this year's artwork with you, and can't be more pleased with how it turned out!

We got such great feedback about the artwork for 2025, so we worked with again for 2026. This year features some of the same fuzzy faces you've seen, but new "larger than life" fiber arts tools!

🧶 Each item has been lovingly created or contributed by our vendors.

🤔 What’s a Silent Auction?
A silent auction is a fun way to bid on amazing items - without the fast-talking auctioneer! Here’s how it works:
- Each item has a bid sheet (or online listing) with a starting price.
- You write down your bid (or enter it online) - as high as you’re willing to go!
- When the auction closes, the highest bidder wins the item.

It’s a great way to support the Alabama Fiber Arts Foundation and take home something special made or donated by our wonderful vendors and community members!

Every bid helps us continue to grow and support fiber arts in Alabama 💕
