Did you know that the largest yacht by volume ever built in the USA was built in Bridgeport, CT, the home of the Steelpointe Yacht and Charter Show?

10 years ago, The former Bridgeport Derecktor Shipyards facility made waves in the yachting industry by building and launching the largest super yacht by volume ever built in the US in Steelpointe Harbor. The 85.6 meter (280 FT) motoryacht Aquila (ex-Cakewalk) was and remains the largest yacht by volume EVER built in the US to this day.

Fast-forward to present day, the now Bridgeport Boatworks accommodates vessels of all sizes, both commercial and recreational, for superior repairs, refits, restorations and winter storage 🪝🛥🛠
