Parked on Bridge Beach right where it belongs!

The 1970 VW Meyers Manx, a fiberglass beach buggy that defined California surf culture and epitomized ‘60s and ‘70s beach life.

Bruce Meyers built the first one in his garage and changed everything. This yellow buggy is one of 100 numbered Signature Manxs he made in the 1990s when he came back to prove the formula still worked. VW Beetle chassis cut down 14 inches. A 2,110cc engine from FAT Performance. Built to the same specs that made the Manx a legend in the first place.

“For many, The Bridge is about the cars. For the rest of us, it’s something stranger and better: an annual calibration of taste, community, and machine.”

As we head into our tenth anniversary, we’re pleased to share that is featured in EQ Magazine’s Spring 2026 issue. Spanning six pages, Petrol Pilgrimage by Daniel Hilpert beautifully captures the atmosphere of The Bridge.

Victory in Sunoco blue 💙
Meet No. 6 Lola, a T70 Mk3b built in the late 60’s and fielded by legendary car owner Roger Penske, and driven to victory in the 1969 race by Americans Mark Donohue and Chuck Parsons. The victory was the first for Penske at Daytona International Speedway and the first for Chevrolet in an international endurance race.

Despite the No. 6 Lola T70 experiencing a wide-range of problems, Penske’s drivers were the last men standing when accidents and mechanical failures took out the pre-race favorites. Even after spending more than two hours in the pits over 31 stops, the No. 6 Lola T70 won by a margin of 30 laps, covering a grand total of 626 laps, 2,382.63 miles.

Golden hour at 🏁
There’s something about the way the sun sets over Peconic Bay that transforms every curve and line into pure magic. A slight breeze drifts through the rolling fairways as the coastal light dims—the kind of light that photographers dream about.
