We had a great turnout today with beautiful weather! We want to thank all of our participants and volunteers, especially Oneida Shores, Auyer Race Timing, Brewerton Fire Department, Menter Ambulance and John Walsh for bringing his DJ skills to the park.

We would like to congratulate this year’s scholarship winners, who are each the recipient of $1,000 to assist with their college expenses.

Natalie Papa was chosen as the Hannibal High School’s awardee, which is selected from the school’s guidance office and staff.

The county wide scholarship had multiple applicants, who each submit a series of essays and are selected by Trooper Trot scholarship staff. This year’s awardee is Hailey Hook, from John C. Birdlebough High School in Phoenix.

These young women exemplify similar qualities to Trooper Anna; hard working, well rounded and highly respected members of their community. We are pleased to assist them both in their future endeavors.

Please congratulate this year’s winners, and remember, all monies from the Trooper Trot 5k and the chicken BBQ go directly into the scholarship fund. Help support our female seniors in Oswego County!
