Brevard Distance Runners Camp

10/11/2026

We hope your cross country seasons are going well and your summer training is paying off! We will open registration for campers on November 1st. As a reminder, we will have 2 one week sessions this year so we encourage you all to register early. Please let us know if we can provide any information to help your team/parents register as early as possible.

2027 dates:

* Week 1: July 11-17
* Week 2: July 18-24

Our 2 session options are with transportation OR without transportation at camp. The incentive of bringing a team remains that a coach gets to come free per 7 runners (regardless of gender). Teams with transportation* will also have the option for a retreat at Fawn Lake.

$795-camper cost coming WITH team transportation*
$850-camper cost coming WITHOUT team transportation

*transportation is deemed as buses OR 12-15 passenger vans

We can’t wait to see you in July!

A huge thank you to Nike and Charlotte Running Co. for helping make the BDRC experience even better. 👟

Thanks to Nike’s EKINs, our campers have the opportunity to test the latest Nike shoes on trail runs, workouts, and everyday training while learning what makes each shoe unique. It’s been an incredible hands on experience, and we’re grateful for a partnership that helps our runners train, learn, and grow.

With heavy hearts we post this tribute for a beloved coach who spent 20 years at BDRC with his team and became a personal friend.

In loving memory of a great coach and an even better husband, father, grandfather and friend. You left this world 1000 times better than you found it. You will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with Anita and all of the Dobbs family. We are heartbroken.

David Dobbs, longtime Hewitt-Trussville coach, killed in crash; wife Anita critically injured.
