Due to a non-life-threatening health issue, the John Cowan Trio will unfortunately be unable to perform at this year’s Mountain Song Festival. We wish John a smooth recovery and hope to see him back on the road soon.

We’re excited to announce that Trey Hensley along with his band will be joining us in his place.

A GRAMMY® Award-winning musician and singer/songwriter, Trey was named IBMA Guitar Player of the Year in both 2023 and 2025 and has been hailed by Acoustic Guitar as “Nashville’s hottest young player.” We’re thrilled to welcome Trey to the festival and know that our Mountain Song audience is going to love him.

Tickets are still available to the 20th Annual Mountain Song Festival which is held at the beautiful Brevard Music Center in Brevard, NC. For weekend and individual tickets to Friday & Saturday’s shows please visit the link in our bio.

Come spend the weekend with us!
