This annual event includes a Kids 1-Mile Run, a 5K and 10K Run, 5K/10K Team events, and 1/2 marathon We're known most for our unique reward at the end of the race. Set in scenic and historic Washington County, the winding roads guides runners through Brenham’s beautiful countryside. What could be better: Bluebonnets and Blue Bell. It's fun for kids and adults alike - especially after crossing the finish line.

We’re taking the next step.

We’ve created the Runner Circle — a small group of participants representing a range of race-day experiences who will help shape the future of the Blue Bell Fun Run.

This group will provide input on everything from registration to the overall race-day experience, helping us continue to improve.

We’re grateful for those who have already stepped in to be part of it — and for the feedback so many of you have shared.

Because the best way to build a better race is to build it with the people who run it.

Yesterday was one of our best Blue Bell Fun Runs yet.

From race flow to the energy across the course, so much of the day went exactly as planned — and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who showed up, ran, volunteered, and supported the event.

But we also know how the day ended matters.

The exit from parking did not meet the standard you deserve.

We’ve heard your feedback, we feel your frustration and we’re taking it seriously. We’re reviewing what happened and working with our partners to make improvements for next year.

2026 Start Times:

🏃 Half Marathon — 7:00 AM
🏃 Kids’ Mile — 7:30 AM
🏃 10K — 8:00 AM
🏃 5K — 9:00 AM

Plan your arrival time accordingly and allow time for parking and walking to the start area.
