Founded in 2015, DocLuvTheKids is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing programs, activities, mentorship, and community support for at-risk youth and underserved families. Through shoe giveaways, youth engagement initiatives, community events, and the distribution of essential items such as clothing, hygiene products, and other necessities, they continue to make a meaningful impact in the lives of countless individuals.

Led by founder Julius “Doc” Blackwell, DocLuvTheKids was created with a vision of giving back to the community and helping young people develop the tools, confidence, and support systems they need to succeed. Their work empowers future leaders while fostering unity, hope, and opportunity throughout Kitsap County.

The Milk Mouth Project is a free community wellness activation created for Black families, providing an intentional space where families can access lactation support, babywearing fittings, perinatal resources, rest and hydration stations. This activation is free and open to all families, creating a safe and supportive environment for parents and children to connect, learn, and be cared for.
