Bacon is the most loved food in the universe and the route to all things swine and divine. Add in the quintessential American liquor, bourbon; mind blown. These indulgences come together for Breckenridge Hogfest – Bacon & Bourbon. Meat connoisseurs will be able to taste their way through a spectrum of pork samples, premium whiskeys, single malt scotches and barrel-aged spirits while enjoying live music from The Country Music Project and mixology below Peak Nine. We want to speak to palates of all distinctions and our golden rule will be to feature the best of the best to the brownest of the brown.

Wish you were here...Grass It Up returns with a whole lotta pickin' at Main Street Station startin' at 2:30pm for the Breckenridge Bluegrass & B**r Festival on Saturday, Sept. 12!

Come on over for a ton o' Colorado craft brews, national producers, plus spirits, w**e, and a good ol' time.

There's bourbon from Bear Creek Distillery and a Basecamp W**e & Spirits barrel pick: High West Cask Strength Wh***ey. 🥃

👉Will call and ticket sales open at 12:15pm. B**r tastin' starts at 1pm for VIPs and 2pm for the Grand Tastin' attendees.

It's the last fest of the summer season for Rocky Mountain Events, y'all. Where does the time go? 🙉

A little strategy goes a long way at a bourbon tasting. 😀

⭐ Start easy - Lower proofs are a good place to ease your palate in.

⭐ Respect the big proofs - Smaller sips. No need to rush.

⭐ Hydrate between pours - Water is part of the tasting plan.

⭐ Give it some time - Let the pour sit before you dive in.

⭐ Watch your nose - The fumes can shock you! No need to bury your nostrils deep into the glass. Give a little room and breathe it in.

⭐ Let sip one wake things up - The second taste is often where more flavor comes in.

⭐ Add a few drops of H20 - Especially with higher-proof wh***ey. It can open up different aromas!

⭐ Eat something - Hello, bacon. 🥓

⭐ Ask questions - The people pouring know these bottles. Pick their brains!

Here’s your Grand Tasting and VIP rundown so you know where to be and when!

Pro tip: All ticketholders are welcome to check in Friday from 6-7pm outside Sauce on the Maggie in The Village at Breckenridge. Then, you can bypass the lines and go straight to the bacon and bourbon on Saturday.

OMG. We are VERY ready for this weekend.
