As some of you may have heard, after two decades of great memories and beautiful trees the Festival of Trees sponsored by Ascension St Vincent Clay will no longer kick off the holiday season.

While we are deeply saddened, especially after the previous success of the Festival of Trees in 2019, this will carry on with the Keys for Community! A&B Farmhouse and Tri Kappa of Clay County will host an evening out on Sat, November 12, 2022 at 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM EST. Ascension St Vincent Clay was able to provide the venue and the dueling pianos in this transition.

Thank you for your generosity over the years, and we hope you will continue to support the new Keys for Community.

Dueling Piano Show to support our local community

Ascension St. Vincent Clay Hospital has presented the Festival of Trees for the past nineteen years. This event has become a tradition to kick off the holiday season where the hospital and community members come together to benefit the hospital foundation and two local community groups; the last few years being the Clay Youth Food Delivery Program and the Ascension St. Vincent Clay Backpack program.

After much discernment and conversation with the Festival of Trees Committee and the Ascension St. Vincent Clay Hospital Board of Directors, it is with much sadness we have decided to cancel the 2020 Festival of Trees. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we do not feel it is in the best interest of the community’s health and safety to hold the event this year. This was not an easy decision to make and we understand the disappointment of the community.

If you would like to support the Clay Youth Food Delivery Program this year, donations can be mailed to the Clay County YMCA at 225 East Kruzan Street Brazil, IN 47834. In the memo line, please write Youth Food Program. If you would like to continue your support of the Ascension St. Vincent Clay Hospital Backpack program, please reach out to Sarah Cox at 812-442-2641 or [email protected].

Ascension St. Vincent Clay Hospital cannot thank the community and local organizations enough for their generosity and support of this event. We look forward to presenting the twentieth Festival of Trees in 2021.

Tis’ the Season! St. Vincent Clay Hospital is proud to present the sixteenth annual Festival of Trees on Saturday, November 9th from 6:00 pm- 10:00 pm at the Clay County 4H Fairgrounds. This year will feature a dueling piano show!

There will be hors d’oeuvres, desserts, a silent auction, and live auction of beautifully decorated Christmas trees and other holiday decor.

A portion of the funds raised will go to the St. Vincent Clay Backpack Program and the Clay Youth Food Delivery program.

Felix and Fingers is a high energy, all request sing along show for all ages. This interactive act brings together music and comedy for a night you’ll be laughing about for weeks! From John Lennon to John Legend, Beach Boys to Beastie Boys, Felix and Fingers will play anything. Come ready with your favorite requests and prepare to laugh and sing with this one of a kind dueling piano show while supporting a great cause!

Sarah Cox, St. Vincent Clay Pharmacy Manager and Festival of Trees Committee Member, presented the Clay Youth Food Delivery program a check for $5,231 on March 6th. These proceeds came from the St. Vincent Clay Hospital Foundation’s annual fundraiser, the Festival of Trees. The St. Vincent Clay Hospital Backpack program also received a check for the same amount. Thank you to everyone who supported and attended the event to help support our local community!
