The Story of this farm is a love story.
Lyn met Jim, a Vermonter, at a reunion in Massachusetts. They immediately connected and he invited her on a trip to Vermont to visit his parents. While Jim was out with his family, Lyn borrowed his car, went on an adventure (i.e got lost), and discovered a run down old dairy farm.
It was love at first sight.
Lyn and Jim married, traveled and had two children. Twenty-three years later, they went on a property search and low and behold - the run down old dairy farm was for sale! They purchased the property and have worked hard to restore it, conserve it and preserve it. The farm is now actively managed as an organic farm and wildlife sanctuary with an active Bobolink nesting program.
They have built beautiful gardens, fences, benches and views. In 2021 they will celebrate their 29th year of a very happy marriage.
