🎨✨ Calling all creatives, makers, and visionaries! Time to get those creative juices flowing! With its undeniably hip vibe and vibrant energy, Kane is an absolute standout in the PA Wilds—and now is your chance to leave a lasting, artistic mark on our community.
Our friends at the Kane Area Development Center are seeking talented artists for a seriously cool public art project. They are looking for designs for visually appealing sculptures that will double as functional bike racks! 🚲🔥
Here is everything you need to know:
📍 The Location: These unique, functional pieces of art will be installed next to the six existing benches near the Kane Trailhead of the beautiful Knox & Kane Rail Trail.
💰 The Budget: $20,000 total. (This includes the artist fee, materials, production, and installation for all six sculptures).
Whether you work with metal, mixed media, or have a completely out-of-the-box idea, we want to see how you can blend form, function, and trail culture. Let’s make our trailheads as beautiful and unique as the trails themselves!
