🏴☠️⚓ A VERY SPECIAL THANK YE TO SOME EXTRAORDINARY PIRATES! ⚓🏴☠️
Every great pirate crew needs a few mateys who go above and beyond, and this year, we had some absolute LEGENDS in our ranks. The Boyne City Pirate Festival simply would NOT have happened without these fine folks!
🧜♀️ Jennifer Clasman — Our fearless captain of the Pirate Pageants! From wrangling participants and finding sponsors to running the pageants and everything in between, Jenny kept the whole ship sailing smoothly!
🍹Rebecca Houser — Captain of the Bar! She handled distributors, ordered and organized all the goods (and an impressive amount of ice!), helped set up, and spent the weekend helping keep the rum... er, beverages flowing!
⚓ Roger Coates — Our all-around pirate extraordinaire! Roger orchestrated getting our stage, tables, and chairs, helped haul 'em, set 'em up, and tear 'em down. He and Kim also took charge of the Treasure Maps and prizes! Roger even served as our pageant MC AND read stories to the wee pirates while dressed as a pirate himself. Talk about commitment to the cause!
🏴☠️ Katie MacKenzie — Our last-minute lifesaver! When we needed someone to take the helm of the Pirate Fest Merch Booth, Katie jumped aboard and absolutely crushed it, handling setup, organization, pricing, and the booth all weekend long!
💪 Matt Mosher & Michele Mosher — These two were everywhere! From Thursday's setup through Sunday's teardown, they jumped in wherever the crew needed 'em — festival setup, tear-down, bar setup, bounce house duty, and so much more. If there was a job to be done, these two were ready to grab a rope and get to work!
To Jenny, Becky, Roger, Kim, Katie, Matt, and Michelle — THANK YE, THANK YE, THANK YE! 🏴☠️❤️
Your hard work, dedication, and willingness to pitch in made this festival possible. We couldn't have done it without ye, and we're incredibly grateful to have such an amazing crew of pirates behind the scenes.
