We have expanded the focus of Literacy in the Park to address all of the different ways literacy is important in our lives. Families will have opportunities to engage in activities about financial literacy, nutritional literacy, physical education literacy and

many other forms of literacy that can be found in their lives and communities. Each family receives a goodie bag with a free book by Todd Parr (book titles will vary). There will also be:

Our Story

For more than a decade, Literacy in the Park has brought well-known children’s authors and illustrators to the families of Northwest Ohio. This event is more than authors and illustrators, though. Families explore all the ways that literacy enhances our lives, from fun activities in financial and nutritional literacy to physical education and environmental literacy -- and that’s just the start. Join us! More info is at bgsu.edu/literacyinthepark.
