🎭 Behind the Scenes: Meet Dillon! 📚
Some of SKYPAC's most important work doesn't happen during a performance—it happens long before the curtain rises, when students discover the arts for the very first time.
We're getting to know the people who help make everything you experience here possible, and this week we're introducing Dillon Godolphin, Education & Outreach Director ✨
For the past three years, Dillon has been building connections with local schools while creating camps, classes, and educational opportunities that help make the arts more accessible for students throughout our community.
To Dillon, working in the arts means "we can all be a part of something bigger than ourselves." That mindset is at the heart of everything he does—helping the next generation experience the magic of live performance.
His own love for the arts began as a student, attending a community Christmas musical at the Capitol with his school. Today, he's helping create those same unforgettable experiences for thousands of young people.
One SKYPAC moment he'll never forget? Being asked if he lives in the ceiling. (Some questions don't need answers. 😂)
Something Dillon says never gets old? Walking into the lobby. Even after three years, he still appreciates its beauty every day.
Outside of SKYPAC, Dillon has a fun surprise up his sleeve—he attended stunt school! 💥
🎭 Performance pick: Broadway
🎵 Walk-up song: "Son of Man" by Phil Collins
🎟️ Dream booking: The High Kings
📍 Favorite Bowling Green spot: The Bistro
✨ His job in emojis: 😇🐵🫡
And if Dillon could trade jobs with anyone at SKYPAC for a day? Housekeeping. (He's curious what it's like to keep this beautiful building looking its best!)
Next time you see a school group filling the theater with excitement, remember there's a whole team working behind the scenes to make those moments possible, and Dillon is helping inspire the next generation of artists and audiences.
💛 Drop Dillon some love in the comments!
