Concerts in the Park, founded in 1979, is a free concert series open to the public Friday nights during the months of June, July, August and September. Winterfest, new in 2023, is a free January -February Friday night concert series inside The Capitol Theatre in downtown Bowling Green, KY. Both are organized and hosted by the Downtown Redevelopment Authority / The District with the support of generous sponsors and vendors. Description
Concerts in the Park is all ages annual event looked forward to by thousands. Each summer there are over 25,000 folks enjoying music, food and friends in a community atmosphere. Live music is performed June - September in Circus Square every Friday evening. Everyone is welcome, so bring your chair or blanket, sit back and enjoy the best summer entertainment that Bowling Green, KY has to offer. Food vendors are on site. Beer and Wine are available. Winterfest at the Capitol is all ages event that brings the Bowling Green area community indoors to help chase the winter blues with music, fun and friends. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the live music every Friday night January - February in the beautiful downtown Capitol Theatre. Come early and visit the fine restaurants and merchants in the area. Snacks, Beer and Wine are available.

This Friday, September 4, Tailgate takes the stage for the Flora Templeton Stuart Concerts in the Park! This is the rescheduled date for our July 10 concert that was rained out, and we’re ready to finally get this party started. 🎸

The event has been rescheduled for Friday, September 4, and we're happy to share that Tailgate is confirmed for the new date!

Due to today's weather conditions, we've made the decision to postpone tonight's Flora Templeton Stuart Concerts in the Park event.

The good news? Tailgate has already confirmed they'll join us for the rain date on Friday, September 4, so you'll still get to enjoy an evening of great live music!

The safety of our patrons, performers, vendors, and staff is always our top priority. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing everyone at Circus Square Park on Friday, September 4 for another fantastic night of free music, food, and community fun.
