Concerts in the Park, founded in 1979, is a free concert series open to the public Friday nights during the months of June, July, August and September. Winterfest, new in 2023, is a free January -February Friday night concert series inside The Capitol Theatre in downtown Bowling Green, KY. Concerts in the Park is all ages annual event looked forward to by thousands. Each summer there are over 25,000 folks enjoying music, food and friends in a community atmosphere. Live music is performed June - September in Circus Square every Friday evening. Everyone is welcome, so bring your chair or blanket, sit back and enjoy the best summer entertainment that Bowling Green, KY has to offer. Food vendors are on site. Beer and Wine are available. Winterfest at the Capitol is all ages event that brings the Bowling Green area community indoors to help chase the winter blues with music, fun and friends. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the live music every Friday night January - February in the beautiful downtown Capitol Theatre. Come early and visit the fine restaurants and merchants in the area. Snacks, Beer and Wine are available.
