🐘🏔️That’s a wrap on the 2026 Elephant Rock Trail Race!
It was a wonderful and enjoyable day out on the trails this past weekend, and we want to thank everyone who came out and made the event so special. Photos from the race are available in the photo albums. If any runners would like to share their own photos with the group, we’d be happy to add them to the albums. 🐘🏔️ Courses have been marked, and aid stations are fully stocked and ready. Our volunteers have done an incredible job to help ensure every runner has a fantastic experience at the 2026 race.

Please come prepared for the conditions. Wear appropriate clothing, apply sunscreen, and bring a hat. We also recommend carrying a water bottle if you're running the 7-mile course, and a hydration vest if you're tackling the long Half Marathon, Full Marathon, or 50K.

Much of the Mueller Park section offers cool shade beneath the tall trees and is well supplied with hydration. However, runners on the 50K should be aware that the Holbrook section is significantly more exposed to the sun and heat, so plan accordingly by carrying enough fluids and staying on top of your hydration.

Please, make sure to read the packet with the instructions and review maps of your course.

Hey, Utah Friends!

🐘⛰ 2 SERVICE WORK HOURS OPPORTUNITIES:

Do you need service hours for the Bear100 or another race by helping this event setup? If so, please bring your service hours paperwork so your volunteer hours can be documented.

1) Aid Station Water Drop: Join us Tuesday, Aug 4 at 5:30pm, by the bridge, at the trailhead at Mueller Park.

(2200 Mueller Park Rd, Bountiful, UT 84010).

We need a few volunteers (5-6) to assist us carrying water to the Elephant Rock Aid Station. This is a 3.5 miles easy hike only to the Rock with a fast running upon descending.

In the past years, I’ve been hauling all the water by myself, but 4 years ago I initiated this Service Project and we have had an awesome turnout.

Please, either add your name to the comments or DM me so I can plan on some cold soda for the after party.

Dress properly. It will be a bit warm, but not too much since that section of the course is about 80% under the shade.

- - - - Please bring a bottle of water, a backpack if you need, gloves, and flashlight… just in case some take too many breaks…😱😂

2) Elephant Rock Trail races event still need volunteers at race day, Saturday, Aug 8. We need help with some of the aid stations, course sweepers, medical/nurse. Please, see available volunteer opportunities and shifts, and register at: https://ultrasignup.com/register.aspx?did=130868

Hello everyone!

The medals have officially been ordered! 🎉🏅 The countdown is on, and we hope you’re getting excited for the big event on August 8!

We’re still looking for a few awesome volunteers to join us. It’s the perfect excuse to spend a day out on the trails, soak in the atmosphere, and catch up on all of life’s latest adventures with an amazing community.

Volunteer service hours count toward the Bear100 service hour requirement or earn credits for free event (see details in the registration website), so come be part of the experience!

No snow this year… we checked twice (and may have looked a little confused). 🤷‍♂️
