Since its inaugural running in September 2017, it has been our honor and focus throughout the year to create, launch and stage the FORTitude 10K Road Race on four Labor Day holidays.

In the process of navigating the Covid19 pandemic over the last two years, we had the privilege of bringing you the BOLDiTUDE Labor Day Virtual 10K in 2020, and the FORTitude 10K Labor Day Fest in 2021, which included a new start, course and finish with a food truck festival. We will always look back at those years and remember times were tough, but you were tougher.

As you can imagine, there have been many changes and dynamics out of our control which have affected the event. We realize many companies and organizations have had to make tough decisions over the past three years. For our team, this certainly qualifies. We have decided that we cannot continue staging the FORTitude 10K.

This is certainly a difficult decision for me and our entire team, as the event is something we have been deeply proud to host.

In light of this we never want to forget our mantra, Stay Fit, Stay Strong — we will continue holding the ColderBOLDER 5k on December 10, 2022, and America's All Time Best 10K, the BOLDERBoulder will be back on Memorial Day in 2023.

I am grateful for you, the support of our volunteers, sponsors, the community of Fort Collins, and Colorado State University that helped to make FORTitude happen.

OH YES WE CAN! The tradition returns, Memorial Day, May 30th!

The BOLDERBoulder is Colorado’s premier community event and the best way to kick off summer. The adrenaline, excitement, and anticipation at the start line. The live music and entertainment at every turn along the course. The thrill of entering Folsom Field with cheers from tens of thousands of screaming fans rooting for you. The parachuters, the fly over, and the Memorial Day Tribute. Everyone coming together is what makes the BOLDERBoulder so special.
