Texas Hell Week has been an early season tradition since 1991. The Texas Hill Country offers some of the best Spring riding in America. The seven counties south of the Colorado River offer nearly 1,000 miles of paved roads with little or no traffic. From mid-March to mid-April, the wild flowers are in bloom, making for an unforgettable riding experience. Texas Hell Week offers three rides daily, approximately 30-50 miles, 50-80 miles, and 60-100 miles over seven days. Every ride is different. Participants can ride as much as they want. In addition, there will be early evening seminars on coaching, nutrition, and crewing, as well as social happy hours.
The Longhorn 500 is the first road-style RAAM-qualifier on the U.S. domestic calendar, perfect for those who aspire to qualify for Race Across America, or those racing RAAM, RAW, or RAE in June who want a warm-up race or to provide their support crew an opportunity to practice before the big event. For 2026, we are also offering the option to race unsupported.
The Stampede 200 is a great double-century race to test your mettle. The course includes two loops. The Crabapple-Doss Harper Loop will head north out of Fredericksburg for scenic ride across rolling Hill Country farm and ranch land with many short climbs. The Comfort Loop - the southern loop - is characterized by green farms and ranches with a scenic section along the Guadalupe River. Each loop will include one aid station at approximately the 50 mile point, in addition to an aid station at the Hermann Sons Lodge. Both loops include only moderate elevation gain with no major climbs, and have very little traffic. This is a fast course!
