The Broomfield Veterans Museum brings veterans' stories to life at the Ball in the most human and authentic ways: Veteran stories kept alive by veterans.

The Museum's history is intrinsically linked to WWII, having been first a public library dedicated to Mamie Eisenhower that consequently inherited much of WWII Supreme Commander of Allied Forces and President Dwight D. Eisenhower's documents and archives. The museum chronicles US veterans' experiences from the Spanish American War to present day, but has four galleries dedicated to WWII: the European Theater, Women in Uniform, the Pacific Theater, and the Homefront.

Visit their 1940s Ball display at Base Camp or make a day of it at the museum in Broomfield, CO off Highway 287 and Route 36.

Today we pause to remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Let us remember the bravery of our fallen heroes and the courage of the families who miss them.

The 1940s Ball strives to honor the legacy of the 416,800 US WWII military deaths through our actions, our values, and our enduring commitment to the ideals they defended. Lest we forget.
