Massachusetts Convention Center Authority The Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center, the Lawn on D, the Hynes Convention Center, the MassMutual Center, BCG and the Boston Common Garage.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) owns and oversees the operations of the Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center (MCEC), The Lawn on D, the John B. Hynes Veterans Memorial Convention Center, the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Mass. The MCEC and Hynes have earned a rare gold standard from the International Association of Congress Centres (AIPC), making Boston only the fourth city in North America and the 12th worldwide to have been awarded this top standard, the highest certification level a convention facility can achieve under strict AIPC guidelines.

Today, we honor the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001, and commemorate the 25th anniversary of the attacks. We also recognize the strength, courage, and resilience demonstrated in their aftermath and reflected in our communities today.

This evening, the Hynes Convention Center will join landmarks throughout the city by illuminating the building in blue as a tribute to the victims, survivors, and all those affected by September 11.

What a weekend at FAN EXPO Boston 2026!

The Thomas M. Menino Convention & Exhibition Center was filled with incredible cosplay, comics, anime, gaming, collectibles, celebrity guests, creators, and fans from across the region.

From browsing the show floor and discovering new treasures to playing games and celebrating favorite characters and fandoms, there was something around every corner.

Thank you to all the fans, creators, exhibitors, guests, and event staff who made this year's FAN EXPO Boston such a memorable weekend. We loved seeing the convention center come alive with so much creativity and excitement! 💙
