Victoria Wojick- "As a filmmaker rooted in editing and color grading, drawing with pencil and charcoal offers me a physical, tactile way to explore the same emotional contours I navigate on screen. Each portrait, be it of people, plants, insects, animals, vehicles, or familiar and current objects, is drawn from my own photographs, moments that linger long after they’re captured. Working primarily in black, white, and grays, I explore the weight of shadow and light and how texture and contrast shape perception, lessons I carry into every frame I cut and every tone I balance. In more recent work, I’ve started introducing pops of color to draw the eye and establish visual hierarchy within the monochrome. Drawing is not separate from my film work, but a companion to it, a study in how feeling lives within form, and how sometimes the absence of color can say everything, while color speaks in its own way."

Vivian Rosalee creates art in a variety of styles, including colorful psychedelic art work, realistic ink paintings, and fantasy dragon paintings. Though her art style varies, her art has a common theme- they are all about animals! Her style is consistently colorful and whimsical- the best example of that is her psychedelic animal portraits and dragon paintings. She loves to combine colors to create different color pallets in each of her paintings. Her two favorite mediums to use include ink and acrylic gouache. Vivian Rosalee graduated from Lesley University in 2020 with a BFA in illustration. She donates 5% of her profits to the Central Food Ministry in Lowell, and to a bird rehab center in Virginia called Happy Wing Sanctuary. When she is not creating art, she is birdwatching on a trail or talking to her pet budgies.

Stacy Shorr thinks of art as language just beyond words, an expression of something that may not be able to be otherwise articulated in the moment and that art is transformative to both the creator and the viewer. The experience of being a woman, disabled, and her beliefs color her energy and her work. While disability doesn't define her, it does create obstacles and difficulties that often call for creative solutions. Shorr works in acrylics and oil, often incorporating metallics in her works, and enjoys trying new techniques and mediums, as it keeps her inspired, as does community. Shorr's work varies and includes portraiture and abstract work, the latter of which includes multimedia, symbols, and inventive created languages. Shorr's work has been shown in a variety of formal and informal settings, more recently including Cambridge Art Association, Fay Chandler Gallery, Jamaca Plain Library, Gilman Square Art and Music Fest, Beacon Hill Art Walk, The Menino Art Center in Hyde Park, Art Haus Gallery, and Till Wave Gallery. She has also enjoyed community use of her images and artwork by NAMI, Mass Council of Churches, Till Wave Gallery, Art in the Park for Childe Hassem Park for fundraising and outreach.

Rita Ortolino-Dioguardi, a talented collage and quilt artist, has been creating collage art since a young girl. What started as childhood art projects has bloomed into unique and colorful pieces of art. These stunning images are spontaneous creations. Her paper collages are created by ripping, not cutting, simple splashes of color from magazines and glossy advertisements and her quilts are born from simple scraps of material. Each piece of art is given a witty name that helps bring the creation to life. Rita has proudly served as a board member of ArtsMedford since 2023.
