Nightfall Star Party

Nightfall Star Party Nightfall is southern California's premiere star party and imaging conference. Let this year be the year that you try Nightfall for yourself!

It's held annually at the Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort in Borrego Springs and organized by the Riverside Astronomical Society. The Nightfall Star Party was conceived of by the same folks who put on RTMC (Riverside Telescope Makers Convention, now known as the RTMC Astronomy Expo), and was first held in 1993. Nightfall has since changed hands and is now run by the Riverside Astronomical Society (R

AS). From its inception it has been held at the Palm Canyon Hotel & RV Resort in Borrego Springs. It is one of the most popular star parties west of the Mississippi due to the resort setting, typically great weather, and relaxed ambiance.
