This spring has gone by way too fast, but we’ve been busy making the fairgrounds a beautiful place for everyone to enjoy! We partnered with the Bonners Ferry High School wood shop class to build these beautiful planters that now hold sponsorship signs, and the FFA students planted flowers they grew themselves in their greenhouse.

A huge thank you to NLD for donating the topsoil and to Sugarplum for the amazing perennials we planted around the grounds as well. We take a lot of pride in making the fairgrounds look amazing for our community and visitors to enjoy.

We’ve also added picnic tables around the grounds for everyone to use — we just ask that you please put the umbrellas down when you’re finished.

And to top it all off, the indoor arena is getting a brand-new roof!!! Cool things just keep coming!

We are officially one month out from kicking off our Summer Concert Series! While we’re excited to get things started, we’re still working on finalizing our entertainment lineup—and we’d love your help.

We’re currently looking for musicians and performers who would like to be part of this fun, community-focused event. This is a great opportunity to showcase your talent, connect with the community, and be part of something special. The event is free to the public and always a great time for everyone involved.

Happy Sunday, Boundary County!

We’re looking for recommendations on where to get a truckload of topsoil. We’ve partnered with the Bonners Ferry High School woodshop class to build flower boxes similar to the photo, and the FFA students will be coming down to plant flowers to help brighten up our fairgrounds.

We will need the topsoil this week to get the boxes ready for planting on the 18th.

We’ve been incredibly fortunate over the past 6 months to see a big increase in rentals here at the Boundary County Fairgrounds. We are so grateful to be a small part of your events and celebrations—it truly means a lot to us!

With this growth, we’ve made a small update to our rental process. Moving forward, we will require a deposit and completed paperwork in order to hold or reserve any facility. This helps us better manage our schedule and ensure everything runs smoothly for everyone.

We kindly ask that you call to check availability before sending in paperwork or payment, as your “usual” dates may not always be open. If you’re already thinking ahead and would like to secure your 2027 dates, give us a call—we’d be happy to help!

We’ve also been continuing to make improvements around the fairgrounds to create a space that is more efficient, more welcoming, and a place our community can truly enjoy. We’re excited to keep building on that progress.

🚨 Friendly Reminder from the Fairgrounds 🚨

Our fairgrounds dumpster is intended for event and facility use only—it is not for personal dumping. Recently, we’ve found items such as bicycles, car parts, boat motors, lumber, Sheetrock, and even a broken wheelbarrow.

When these items are left, the garbage service won’t take them, which means our team has to haul and dispose of them ourselves—costing extra time and money.

Please be aware that cameras are in place at the dumpster. If this misuse continues, license plate numbers will be turned over to Law Enforcement.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep the fairgrounds clean and running smoothly for the whole community. Thank you for understanding!
