The Kansas City Renaissance Festival is a public event venue with several events throughout the year, including but not limited to:
February - Romance Under the Stars
March or April (typically weekend after Easter) - Kegs 'n' Eggs
Labor Day weekend thru Mid October - Kansas City Renaissance Festival
End of November thru December 31st - Knights of Lights Holiday Festival

Each ticket holder assumes for himself/herself, as well as for each minor ticket holder is in charge of, all risk and danger incidental to attending this Event. Ticket holder releases both management and owners of Event from all liability for personal injury and/ or damage or theft of property while on premises. Ticket holder further consents to the use of ticket holder likeness incidental or primary to any promotion, display, transmissions, or reproductions of the event.

So much Celtic fun, so little time!

Join us this weekend for our Celtic Celebration and see if you have what it takes to conquer the Highland Games, try your hand at the Sheep Toss, or show off your creativity in the Fairy House Competition! 🧚

Whether ye be mighty, magical, or just looking for a grand day of fun, there’s an adventure waiting for you at the Kansas City Renaissance Festival!

For those entering the Fairy House Creative Competition: No pre-registration required. Show your hand made fairy house (sized smaller than 16”x 16”x 16” ) to the box office so you can get in free to enter the fairy house competition on either Saturday, Sep 19th or Sept 20th.

Competition is at 10:30 AM in the Enchanted Forest. Judging takes place at 10:30 AM and winners are immediately announced and given their prizes.

Artisans who wish to participate in the long-standing tradition of having your fairy house displayed in the Enchanted forest, you may do so at that time and trade us you fairy house for either two tickets to the Kansas City Renaissance festival or the Knights of Lights festival in December. Artisans who do not wish to have their fairy houses on display, may take them after the competition.
