Eddiefest Eddiefest is an annual event created by Tracy Byrd (Blitzkid/A Gathering of None) to honor the life of Eddie Baker and showcase independent music

Probably not doing an Eddiefest for 2027. I've given it a lot of thought and this past May wasn't what I hoped, and it seems no one wants diverse bills here locally any longer. Ive tried to make Eddiefest something for everyone to enjoy, that included a large facet of punk, metal and hard rock but that's not what the scene wants here anymore. That leaves me with the conclusion that I gotta bow out. Thank you all to whomever played, helped, promoted or attended in every way. I completely and wholeheartedly appreciate it. We may be back.

So with our friends Mosh Nation, Melissa Callahan and Sarah Tester being extremely busy and doing big and great things in the coming year, they will not be available to lend their incredible talents to Eddiefest next year. I want to personally thank them for everything they have done the last 3 years. Having said that, if you are interested in being a part of the team for Eddiefest 6, are active in the local and regional scene, have promotional experience and want to help please shoot me a DM. Thank you in advance!

Ok. In what we hope will be the last iteration of the show flyer, I give you our line up once again. We hope to see everyone out May 16th. Southwest WV/VA has a killer scene that is often overlooked bc of where we are situated geographically, and that's nowhere indicative of the talent and the passion that exists here. I would also like to acknowledge a few people that very deservedly are also doing great things for this area in Shawn Graham , Tom Martin , Remain Convicted Promotions, Huntington Music Collective , Appalachian Music Productions
