Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures who make every gathering a little warmer, every story a little better, and every memory a little more meaningful.

Whether you're a dad, grandfather, stepdad, foster dad, uncle, mentor, or someone who has stepped into a fatherly role, we wish you a day be filled with family, laughter, and good memories.

We were honored to be able to host three exceptional guests this past weekend at the Mansion for this weekend's Special Olympics Illinois Summer State Games. Sam, Will, and Lindsay (along with their lovely families) spent their weekend with us when they weren't at the Opening Ceremonies or giving it their all at the pool. Will even came away with a silver medal! Thank you to Special Olympics families for letting us play a part in such a special weekend. We will look forward to welcoming you back (with pancakes!) next year!

It's Great Outdoors Month and there are so many incredible things to do outside in the Bloomington-Normal area that even those of us who prefer the indoors can find something to get us outside! Here are some of our favorites:

🚲 taking a leisurely bike ride with Friends of the Constitution Trail
⛳️ a friendly(ish) game of minigolf at Grady's Family Fun Park
🌽 strolling through Downtown Bloomington IL at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market
🎼 catching a concert in Uptown Normal
🏊‍♀️ floating in the lazy river at City of Bloomington, Illinois's O'Neil Aquatics Center or flying down the waterslide at Town of Normal Parks and Recreation Department's Fairview Pool
💨 and, of course, sitting on our side porch enjoying the shade and the breeze

We aren't just playing host to other peoples' parties this graduation season, we're also celebrating TWO of our amazing team members on their own graduations!

Their hard work and big personalities are a joy for the team and our guests, and we can't wait to see the amazing things ahead for them.

Please help us congratulate our own Allie, who just graduated from Olympia High School and Nikki who just finished her Bachelor's Degree in Organizational and Leadership Communication and French at Illinois State University!
