The venue brings you close to the show with its intimate setting and top level productions. The Bloomington Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) is located in the City’s downtown and is a platform for performing arts and entertainment in the community. With a 1,200-seat auditorium and an 11,000 square foot ballroom, the recently-restored, historic 1920 theater welcomes more than 50 touring artist

s annually and is also home to many area performing arts ensembles. The center also features an outdoor summer concert stage and is in the process of developing a community arts education facility, the Creativity Center. The countdown is on - our first concert is just ONE WEEK AWAY with Captain Geech & The Shrimp Shack Shooters on June 5 at the BCPA Lawn. Get ready for a night of live music, food trucks, drinks, and your favorite ‘70s and ‘80s hits! ☀️

We’re so excited to bring First Friday Concerts back to the BCPA lawn this summer and spend some evenings together with live music, local food, and the community! 🎶

We’re currently looking for local food vendors for the concerts on June 5 and July 3. Food trucks are welcome, but we’d also love to have restaurants, pop-ups, and other Downtown businesses join us and serve food during the events!
