Built completely by husband and wife duo Eugene and Marlena, Hill Country Nature Retreat is a nature based event venue in Texas. Our 37 acre oasis is an hour outside of Austin and San Antonio in Blanco. We host retreats, family gatherings, team building workshops, and solo or couple adventures. Our eco friendly spaces use solar power for electricity and rainwater catchment systems, with plenty of creature comforts.

We're leaning into nature here at Hill Country Nature Retreat with our new furnished tents and campsite area. Schlepping around with camping gear, messing with tent poles, and sleeping on the ground ain't a huge deal but we've got you taken care of here! Our furnished tents are included with whole property bookings for retreats or other group gatherings.

All bags made by me, from deer hides I tanned into leather! Each hide carries its own natural markings, including scars and blemishes from the animal’s life.

I've been watching the Perseids Meteor shower every August since I was a kid and I plan on continuing the tradition. We've got plenty of nights open to rent, if you'd like to view it under a dark sky! Link to book is in our bio.

ASMR Hide Tanning 🤤... I had so much fun filming short little clips of me tanning this hide! It's a hair off deerskin, tanned with oak bark and softened with egg yolks and oil.
