Tom has served on the Eastern Idaho State Fair Board of Directors since 1999, representing Bannock County. He grew up showing cattle at his local fair and went on to show at the Eastern Idaho State Fair for many years. Before becoming a director, Tom served as the Fair’s Beef Superintendent and spent more than 20 years working with youth as a 4-H leader in Bannock County.
Tom and his wife, Janice, ran a ranch in Downey for many years, giving them a deep connection to agriculture in Southeast Idaho. They remain strong supporters of the Fair and enjoy spending time watching 4-H youth and livestock shows.
Tom has also served his community as a volunteer firefighter and has been involved in many local committees. His lifelong involvement in agriculture and the Fair makes him a valued part of helping the event continue to succeed. 🚜🎡
