‼HEADS UP‼ This Saturday, April 18th at 8:30am at the Jackson County Fairgrounds the JCAS will be having a Livestock Workshop. This workshop is MANDATORY for all 1st year Beef Exhibitors! 🚨‼📣IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT📣‼🚨 the JCAS Board of Directors voted at their 4/9/26 meeting to suspend the requirement to have swine exhibitors submit a negative PRRS and PEDv test after receiving notice from DATCP that they are issuing a waiver for that requirement. So for the 2026 Jackson County Fair swine exhibitors will not need to test for PRRS and PEDv and submit it to the Swine Superintendent.
