Colorado's 8-Man Coaches Association will induct 6 more members into the Colorado 8-Man Hall of Fame during the All-State Game tomorrow. Two coaches, three players, and one media member who helped shape this game into what it is today. Join us to celebrate them in person. More on each inductee will be shared during the game.
Steve Vosburg | Otis | Player
Steve Vosburg went 32-4 over four years at Otis and capped it with a perfect 12-0 State Championship season in 1963. He scored 135 points in a single season and was named 8-Man MVP. He is one of the best to ever play the game in Colorado. Welcome to the Hall, Steve.

Dick Peecher | Wiley and McClave | Coach
137 wins. 80% win percentage. 10 league titles. 12 playoff appearances in 14 years. A State Championship in 1987. Coach Peecher built programs at Wiley and McClave that Colorado 8-Man fans still talk about today. He still holds the state record for most consecutive wins in girls basketball at 78 straight. Welcome to the Hall, Coach Peecher.

Barry Helton quarterbacked Simla to three straight State Championships from 1980 to 1982, going 33-0 in those three seasons. Kevin Shaffer | Colorado Preps | Media
Kevin Shaffer gave small schools a voice. He and his wife Lanette built Colorado Preps into the most trusted source for small-school sports in the state. Live in-game scores. Weekly scoreboard shows. Twenty years of Friday night coverage that made small-school coaches and players feel like they belonged on the same map as anyone else. Welcome to the Hall, Kevin.
Alfred Montez | Granada | Player
