What if Sunday September27th you traded the rushing for a little more connecting?

Connection with your people.
Connection with nature.
Connection with animals.
Connecting with self.
Connection with the little moments that are so easy to miss when life is moving fast.

Thatā€™s what Picnic in the Pasture is really about.

Itā€™s not about packing as much as possible into three hours. Itā€™s about giving your family, your friends, a beautiful place to slow down, explore, play, eat something sweet and yummy, visit the animals and simply enjoy being together.

Maybe you need somewhere to just be together. šŸ¤Ž

Somewhere the kids can run.
You can sit in the grass a little longer.
Nobody is rushing you to the next thing.
And somehow, doing almost nothing together becomes the thing you remember.

Thatā€™s what Picnic in the Pasture was created for.

Not another packed schedule.
Not another perfectly planned family outing.
Just a few hours in the Colorado mountains to picnic, play, wander, visit the animals, eat something sweet and reconnect with the people you love.

Our final Picnic in the Pasture of 2026 is September 27 from 12ā€“3 PM at Sweet Freedom Farm in Black Hawk, Colorado.

šŸŒæ $20 adults
šŸŒæ $10 kids ages 6ā€“12
šŸŒæ Little ones 5 & under are free
šŸŒæ Drinks + dessert included
šŸŒæ Yard games, forest wandering & plenty of animal friends

When is the last time you did everything and nothing, together at the same time?

September 27. Come spend the afternoon with us. šŸ¤Ž
