Bring your friends and family for an evening of delicious food truck food, a firefighter challenge for kids up to 15 years old, representation of multiple military branches, and of course, a spectacular fireworks show. Our Story

The Bixby Freedom Celebration (BFC) is dedicated to the celebration of freedoms we enjoy in the Bixby Community as a result of the dedication and sacrifice of others. BFC is held annually to shine a light on those freedoms and those who obtain and pass on those freedoms as an inheritance to us individually and as a community. BFC is the largest free, public fireworks extravaganza in this area. The Inaugural Bixby Freedom Celebration in 2015 brought approximately 5,000 people from our local community together in patriotic celebration. In 2019, the estimated attendance was 18,000! On Friday, July 3, 2020 The Bridge Church and its sponsors will once again host Bixby’s very own Independence Day fireworks celebration. So bring your family and friends and let’s celebrate our freedom together!
