As many of you know, last year I had knee replacement surgery and still went ahead with the event which damn near killed me.
I am back in physical therapy preparing for my second knee replacement surgery but with all the stairs and phsical work involved in a 3-day event like Mineshaft it's just not doable.
It sucks because, even in spite of the many challenges working in Bisbee, I love the event. But this is my reality.
Next year I plan to bring Mineshaft back with a bang!
