Why we run
The Oak Mountain Color Run was started by two former Oak Mountain High School Students in 2013 simply as a way to each honor a grandparent that had passed away because of cancer.
We run in their memory and in the memory and honor of all those affected by cancer. We want to make a difference right here in our community.
The Oak Mountain Color Run has been and will continue to be a student run event. We are so proud that this event empowers students to lead positive change and impact our community. We hope you will join us in our mission to put an end to cancer!
