Southern Shootout Softball Tournament

Southern Shootout Softball Tournament Southern Shootout is the oldest and longest consecutively running LGBTQ+ softball tournament in the south! Our tournament this year will be on April 4-5, 2026.

The Southern Shootout Softball Tournament is hosted by the New South Softball League of Birmingham, AL. This tournament is held on Easter Weekend every year at George Ward Park. We are inviting 50 teams from across the US to participate in this years tournament. We are known for our "Southern Pride & Hospitality" and have the best open-bar Meet & Greet Registration party of any tournament around!

On behalf of New South Softball and Southern Shootout, I want to say thank you to all of the teams who made this past weekend the best! Congratulations again to all of the winners in the C & D Divisions! I wish everyone the best of luck in your upcoming season! We hope to see you all back again next year!

I also want to thank Mark Cummings and the staff at Al's On 7th for all the hard work you put in this past weekend to make Southern Shootout what it is. 💙
