What an incredible weekend! Despite the heat, almost 200 kids came out across both days to compete, learn, have fun, and be part of something special. The energy, smiles, teamwork, and positive vibes all weekend long were truly amazing to see. ☀️🔥

ALL children MUST have a mouth guard in order to participate and play today. 🏈

Player safety is our top priority, and no exceptions will be made. Please make sure your child arrives with their mouth guard ready for tournament.

Today will be HOT with temperatures around 81 degrees, so please make sure campers:
✔️ Have sunscreen on before arriving
✔️ Wear comfortable athletic clothing

🗑️ PLEASE HELP US KEEP THE AREA CLEAN 🗑️

We ask everyone to please throw away garbage, pick up after yourselves, and help us leave the field and surrounding areas clean throughout the day. Let’s respect the space and the community hosting us!

🏈🔥 DAY 2 DRAFT DAY & TOURNAMENT 🔥🏈

Players will compete in our tournament, represent their teams, and leave it all on the field — but we want to make one thing VERY clear:

🚨 PLAY FOR ZAY DOES NOT TOLERATE VIOLENCE OR UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT 🚨

Any player who cannot follow the rules, respect coaches, officials, teammates, or opponents, and play fair will be immediately ejected from the tournament and asked to leave.

This event is about:
✔️ Growth
✔️ Competition
✔️ Community
✔️ Honoring Zay the right way

We expect all athletes, parents, and spectators to help us keep the environment positive, safe, and fun for everyone involved.

🏈GOOD MORNING PLAY FOR ZAY FAMILY! 🏈

TODAY IS DAY 1!!! 🔥🔥
We are so excited to kick off an amazing weekend filled with football, competition, learning, and FUN! Thank you to everyone who signed up and continues to support 🧡🖤

📍 Official Check-In Begins at 10:30 AM
✅ Staff will be on-site and ready to begin checking campers in as early as 9:45 AM to help keep lines moving smoothly!

🚨 IMPORTANT REMINDER 🚨
Due to the HUGE amount of registrations this year, T-shirts and water bottles will be distributed on a FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE basis while supplies last.

Parents are absolutely encouraged to stay and enjoy the day with us! We’ll have music, food, raffles, and a great atmosphere all day long 🙌🏽
However, drop-offs are also completely welcome if needed.

No cleats are required. 👟 but recommend Sneakers or athletic shoes

It’s been brought to our attention that some parents thought this was a drop-off event … it is NOT! 😊

Check-in starts at 10:30 AM we will have volunteer there ready to start check in as early as 9:45, and parents are more than welcome (and encouraged!) to stay and enjoy the day with us!

Bring a chair, relax, and have some fun while supporting these athletes! We LOVE having parents there bringing the energy and cheering the kids on all day long. 💙

💙 Play for Zay Flag Football Camp is Back! 💙

Join us for our 4th Annual Play for Zay Flag Football Camp on May 16th & May 17th at MacArthur Elementary!

This year we’re bringing back our NFL Combine-style camp where kids can test their skills, compete, and have fun. After the combine, teams will face off in a tournament for this year’s trophy 🏆 and bragging rights!

✨ Camp is FREE! Every participant will receive a T-shirt and water bottle. ✨

The Cooper Family would be honored to have you join us for a weekend of football, fun, and community as we celebrate Xavier’s memory, raise asthma awareness, and support a cause close to our hearts. 💙
