Thank you to everyone that celebrated with us throughout the years! The float has found a new home in Dothan, Alabama. We hope that the new owners enjoy the float as much as we did! Here's to a new "Going Forth!" from all of us here at Krewe de Moza!

Krewe De Moza - Float Rental Available for 2024

Good morning everyone – We at Krewe De Moza have decided not to run our float this coming Mardi Gras season. As much fun as we have each year, unfortunately the timing of the parades this year conflicts with family events.
We are going to make the float available for rental out to a group for each parade. I have assembled the following chart to show what the expenses for the float and the parade fees are. You will be responsible for driver/truck to pull the float (requires at least a ¾ ton truck), DJ/Music setup and insurance. We will have the fire extinguishers and generator on the float. I can provide more information to anyone that is interested. Fees to Krewe De Moza are due at the time of booking.

D'Iberville/St. Martin $1,500 Sunday, Februay 11 $80 or $160 Commercial
Biloxi Day - Fat Tuesday $1,500 Tuesday, February 13 $300 or $600 Commercial
The float will hold up to 40 people, with 34-36 being the ideal number for comfort as well as looking “full” during the parade.
There will be the option of decorating the float prior to the parades.

It will soon be time for Carnival. Mardi Gras is early this year!

We are going to roll five (5) Mardi Gras parades this year (if we have the demand for it)! I have included a list of the dates below.

I’m going to start by apologizing for the increase in rider’s fees and the late notice– unfortunately insurance quotes have been difficult to get and the cost has risen almost to the point where running the float legitimately isn’t viable. We have to have at least 20 people per parade at the new rate for it to make sense for us to run the parades.

All parades are BYOB and you must provide your own throws. We will be cooking sausage and hot dogs for you on the parade route.

Now that I've had a chance to catch my breathe after Mardi Gras, I just want to thank everyone that rode with us this year. The weather was perfect for all of the parades and much fun was had. We missed a few regulars this year, but Mardi Gras rolls a couple weeks earlier next year, so we will hopefully see you then.
