A favorite part of Germanfest is seeing the groups of family and friends sharing in the gemuchlichkeit of the evening. Some of our reserved groups over the years have numbered 30 or more! We miss the food, we miss the drinks, we miss the music and dancing, but most of all, we miss YOU!

Oh, how we miss it! This is typically the week of preparation leading up to Germanfest! We hope you’ll enjoy our tour of memories this week leading up to what would have been the best Germanfest ever. We’ll see you next year.

Due to the uncertainty of the Corinavirus and it's prolonged effect, and considering the hardships that it has placed on many of our sponsors and patrons, this year's Big Rapids Germanfest has been cancelled. We are very thankful for the support that out greater community has given us in the past, and are hopeful that next year we can resume the event, which has been our pleasure to put on for the community.

In the meantime our thoughts and prayers go out to all the business owners and patrons who have suffered through these challenging times.

The wine is here! After a long boat ride, it is well rested and ready to drink!

We have a fine selection of German wine:
🍷Burg Layer Schlosskapelle ( in the blue bottle), a white semi-sweet wein...and our biggest seller.
🍷Kreuznacher Kronenberg, a sweet white wein, from St. Antonius.
🍷Dornfelder Red, a semi-sweet red, also from St. Antonius.
🍷Dornfelder, a dry red wein, from the Hessen area of the Reinland.

As a nice surprise we were able to secure 8 cases of Possman Cider. Not only do we have the original, we also have a Rose (black current). This one we had to sample.....very nice!❤

The wein literally just came off the boat. Come join us this friday to enjoy a true taste of Germany.
